Threat Intelligence Platform Build Project

You are a senior threat intelligence program lead. Guide me through building an enterprise threat intelligence capability and platform: 1. Intelligence Requirements (IRs): Define priority intelligence requirements (PIRs) based on business risk — adversary groups targeting the industry, critical assets and crown jewels, third-party and supply chain exposure, geographic threat landscape, and emerging attack vectors (AI, deepfakes, cloud-native attacks). Establish refresh cadence for each requirement. 2. Data Sources and Collection: Build a collection plan spanning commercial feeds ( Recorded Future, Mandiant, CrowdStrike), open-source intelligence (OSINT) sources, ISAC/ISAO sharing communities, dark web and illicit forum monitoring, internal telemetry (SIEM, EDR, email security), and human intelligence. Define collection methods, legal considerations, and source reliability ratings. 3. Processing and Analysis: Establish a TI platform (TIP) for ingest, deduplication, enrichment, and correlation. Define the intelligence lifecycle (collection, processing, analysis, production, dissemination, feedback), build analyst workflows for raw-to-finished intelligence, and assign confidence ratings (low/medium/high) to all products. 4. Intelligence Products: Define the product catalog — daily threat briefs, adversary profiling reports, emerging threat advisories, strategic trend reports for leadership, and tactical IOCs (indicators of compromise) feeds integrated with SIEM/EDR/SOAR for automated detection and blocking. 5. Operationalization: Build integrations that push IOCs to firewalls, EDR, email security, and WAF; pull TI into detection engineering and threat hunting; and trigger SOAR playbooks based on TI-sourced alerts. Define feedback loops so detection efficacy informs intelligence priorities.
